In this blog I decided to find a video that explains how and why a diamond is cut a certain way.

The Diamond Museum in Brugge has a daily show in which the process of getting from a raw diamond to a brilliant is explained. Here, a diamond octagonal is cut in two. That process takes several days to complete.
