Slavey Petrov is a contemporary master Bulgarian ancient coin forger who is still producing coins and has trained others in his craft.

He is hated by some as a criminal because he is so good and doesn’t sign his coins and revered by others as an artist because he aways gives clues that what you are looking at is a replica.

About 15 years ago I bought a large collection of Slavey Petrov’s coins from a customer. I have a few left. I’m in the camp that thinks he is a great artist. What do you think?
