This ring was created from some family gems that my client received from his mother and grandmother. The diamond was a Old European cut with a large chip on the pavilion (the back of the diamond) which I had my master diamond cutter work his magic. We lost some weight but it was still 0.85 carat after recutting. The sapphires were also heavily abraded and needed to be recut to be a pair.

The platinum mounting is classic but has some nice detailing on the side where the prongs come together.
